Astrid Global present at the Internet of Things (IoT) Korea 2016

Hosted by the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning, IoT Korea Exhibition 2016 is a two day event that showcases products that connect to the Internet having the ability to identify themselves to other devices and people in order to exchange data.

Astrid Global was invited to take part one of the conferences where CEO Per Adersson introduced several strategies that start-ups can take to achieve sustainable growth in a competitive but still very fragmented market. You can find the conference here.

According to a recent report published by the Hyundai Research Institute, the Korean IoT market is expected to boom in the next four years, growing at 38.5 percent annually until 2020. The market will increase in size from $3 billion in 2015 to $17 billion in 2020, the report said.

We cannot imagine what kind of devices and features our smart homes will be using by 2020 but this exhibition featured products that have a big potential to enter our daily lives in a near future.
